Alcohol Laws For Virginia
Virginia may be for lovers, but her alcohol regulations are pretty white bread. Hours of operation land right in the middle of what's to be expected and terms like "happy hour" and "drink special" were illegal until 2014. I'm bored. Lets go somewhere else.

Are there certain hours when I can't buy alcohol?
Unfortunately, there are some restrictions here.
In the bar: Service outside of the hours of 6 am until 2 am is illegal except in private clubs, which are completely unobstructed to Virginia-baked-ham it up all nite!
At the store: at 11:59 your ability to purchase packaged liquor turns into a pumpkin...you'll have 6 hours to sober up before sales open again at 6 am.
